Proper maintenance is essential for the vitality of all green roof systems. We offer site-specific maintenance contracts designed to meet the needs of each individual system.

A typical annual maintenance contract includes the following services:

• Soil nutrient management: testing, amending, fertilization

• Weed removal

• Vegetation replacement

• Winterization & summerization of irrigation

• Component inspections: irrigation, waterproof membrane, drains, flashing, edging

We prioritize clear communication with clients and on-site staff to manage goals and functionality of our green roofs. Maintenance contracts can also be issued for pre-existing green roofs that are in need of remediation or repair.

Recover designs, builds, and maintains rooftop farming systems in the Boston area in collaboration with farmers from Green City Growers and Higher Ground Farm who provide year-around farm management services to our farm projects.
