COMMUNITY GROWS IN ST. LOUIS
In collaboration with Urban Harvest STL, Recover installed a 3,400 sq. ft. rooftop garden for the Kranzberg Arts Foundation atop the .ZACK, a recently renovated multi-use arts building in downtown St. Louis.

The garden, along with the surrounding 3,000 sq. ft. of paved activity space, serves as an outdoor event and education venue, bringing community members together around art, music, and food. Recover installed Aerated Media Modules (RAMMs) with an integrated SMART irrigation system allowing for flexibility and mobility in design, while also maximizing vegetable production in the minimal available growing space.

The garden is managed by Urban Harvest STL and supports a variety of vegetables, fruits, herbs, and edible flowers. A portion of the produce is used by the Kranzberg Arts venues, while the rest is donated to local non-profit partners that serve communities with limited access to fresh produce and healthy food.
