NATIVE MEADOW GREEN ROOF
The Center for Agriculture and Natural Resources at State University of New York Cobleskill is a state-of-the-art facility designed to connect academic departments and engage the local community. Atop the building sited along a hillside, Recover installed a 12,000-square-foot native meadow roof consisting of extensive and intensive soil depths that blurs the lines between the natural and built environment. The roof is home to a broad array of sedums and native species of grasses, flowering perennials, and several varieties of edible and medicinal plants.
