SERENE SEDUM ROOF
Designed by Moshe Safdie and Associates and completed in 1992, the Harvard Business School Class of 1959 Chapel is a cylindrical sanctuary with a striking pyramid-shaped greenhouse, water garden and koi pond integrated into the southwest side.

Recover built a lightweight, drought-tolerant sedum roof designed to further embody the tranquil nature of the chapel and minimize its environmental impact. This green roof will extend the life of the roof membrane, reduce building temperature, and minimize stormwater runoff.

The 1959 Chapel is featured in the Boston's Hidden Sacred Spaces project.
