This sunlit sedum balcony overlooks a family-run permaculture homestead in the foothills of southern Vermont and is directly accessible from the residence’s master bedroom. Flagstone stepping stones rest between patches of yellow flowering sedum, and creative natural elements complement the sophisticated rural style of the home.
Recover conveyed and installed a ZinCo green roof system, creating a blank canvas for the homeowners to complete planting the roof with recommended species. This roof deck is a shining example of underutilized roof decks turned into valuable living space.
