NATIVE MOSS ROOF
Recover built and planted this native moss roof on an outdoor pavilion space designed to blend with the natural landscape of the lakefront hillside.
The pitched roof features a Watergrip Roof Brownie system to provide just enough moisture content for moss to establish and slow stormwater runoff. Recover installed a permanent Rain Bird micro-irrigation system to maintain the health of the moss during dry periods.
