COMMON AREA TRANSFORMATION
This renovation project at Lafayette City Center was designed by Ground Inc. landscape architects with the goal of transforming a central hardscape plaza into an inspiring common space for a large commercial building in Downtown Crossing.

Recover designed and installed three large garden beds of varying topography with a diversity of plants. Thirty-six inch deep growing media allows serviceberry trees, grasses, and woody and herbaceous perennials to thrive. Recover installed seatwalls of thermally modified FSC-certified North American oak to line the beds, integrating several planter openings for serviceberry trees to create a canopy over seating areas.
